Overview
Idle Chapters is a cozy text RPG focused on low-pressure exploration, worldbuilding, and narrative systems. It is built around the storylet model: small, self-contained narrative units that compose into larger experiences based on player state.
Design principles
- Constrained lexicons — deliberate, specific vocabulary for each world
- Schema-driven narrative — story content as structured data, not prose scripts
- Cozy gameplay structures — no failure states, no time pressure
- Procedural composition — storylets assemble into coherent arcs

Planned. Narrative architecture and schema design in early stages.
Technical notes
Separate deployment from kimberly-garmoe-web. Game state, storylet engine, and web UI will live in the idle-chapters repo.
